We’re on a journey together, loosening the grip of some idols that have had a hold on our hearts.

We’ve evicted our Love Idols. We’ve shattered them. Some of us have shown some pretty impressive moves — even karate-chopping and drop-kicking those pesky idols. 😉 We’ve shown them who’s boss. Can I get an Amen?

But, some idols are relentless. They try to sneak in the back doors of our hearts.

What do we do when old idols woo? How can we keep our need for approval from taking a controlling position in our hearts again?
