Hello My Name is …

When it comes to the names we call ourselves, we are inundated with choices. And they aren’t all good ones.

So, what do you say? Let’s choose wisely, under the naming authority of the king of Kings. (Be kind to your beloved self.)

  • One of my favorite songs! Thanks for sharing this sweet friend! Hugs!

  • It is so important what we call ourselves. We must not focus on what the world says about us and concentrate on what the Lord calls us. He calls us blessed!

  • Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for your thoughtful post, it’s a subject close to by heart ,as I work through it, with our Lord’s help.

I also wanted to let you know that I have added your blog to a guest post I wrote, ’50 Christian women bloggers to follow’. Thank you for for the encouragement you share.

  • I don’t know if you got by my blog last week but I called myself “a faker.” But the good news is that I am not. So thankful that God is good to put people in my life to point me to my true identity, a image bearer deeply loved by God.

  • Love, love, love! Thank for this today as I still need this reminder often. You always encourage! Blessings to you Jennifer.

  • What a wonderful reminder we do have ‘identity’ and we do need to often recheck it and see what we are telling ourselves.

  • Great post! I am doing some writing on our identity in Christ right now and your post has encouraged me to continue writing! Thanks.

  • Just downloaded this song and I fully intend to “wear it out” listening to its TRUTH!

  • You! So creative! So beautiful! So amazing!

  • I was just watching this video this morning…a great song! My son is struggling with some issues,,,I keep telling him that he is the child of the King! and that the King knows him by name. This song is a great reminder that we are not to let the enemy tell us who we are!! God is greater!

Tonight, hear Jesus speak these words over you: "It is finished." In whatever difficult situation you found yourself in today, pause and remember this: Jesus has the final say. If you felt shamed or rejected today, remember: Jesus has the final say. Yo… ift.tt/2DusT48 pic.twitter.com/NluYYphMuk
