When it comes to the names we call ourselves, we are inundated with choices. And they aren’t all good ones.

So, what do you say? Let’s choose wisely, under the naming authority of the king of Kings. (Be kind to your beloved self.)

It is so important what we call ourselves. We must not focus on what the world says about us and concentrate on what the Lord calls us. He calls us blessed!

I don’t know if you got by my blog last week but I called myself “a faker.” But the good news is that I am not. So thankful that God is good to put people in my life to point me to my true identity, a image bearer deeply loved by God.

What a wonderful reminder we do have ‘identity’ and we do need to often recheck it and see what we are telling ourselves.

I was just watching this video this morning…a great song! My son is struggling with some issues,,,I keep telling him that he is the child of the King! and that the King knows him by name. This song is a great reminder that we are not to let the enemy tell us who we are!! God is greater!
