So Is This What Love Is?

April 6, 2010 | 5 comments

Sometimes, my thundering life drowns out the cry of my neighbor.

Love me, she says.

Notice me, he whispers.

And in my Gospel-proclaiming life, I think that I do. I think that I love.

But do I really? Do I dispense agape like Jesus taught?

Today, I share my debut post as an Internet Cafe Devotions Barista. It’s entitled “Clanging Cymbal” — a repost from the 2009 archives. Would you join me over at Internet Cafe Devotions and say hello?

Would you explore with me what it means to love?

I’ll see you there.

Oh how I long to love the way Jesus loves. That has been my constant prayer for the last couple months as I've had to face a difficult family situation. I want to see others the way God sees them, through the lens of the cross. Going over to your other place now…

Still working on refining the love of JESUS in me….I am definitely a work in progress and quite the challenge for our Heavenly Father! Clearly, HE is not done with me, yet.

My greatest desire – to look like Him. To love like He loves. Oh, I have a lot of work that needs to be done in my life!
