God-Bumps: It is Well With My Soul
It’s a Wednesday morning in Haiti, in a dim room with no light bulb. I am a spectator to the quiet work of five women.
They thread shiny beads onto strings, with careful hands, so they can make an honest living. They have babies to feed.
Someone coughs. A bauble falls to the floor, echoing as it rolls.
I lean against the wall and fidget with camera settings, wordless. I wonder what in the world I’m doing here anyway.
I’ll be sharing the rest of this story over at TheHighCalling.org today. Will you join me there by clicking here?

Headed that way …
What an a beautiful and life-impacting story you share here. What a blessing to be able to go on this missions trip. Haiti holds a special place in my heart. They are such beautiful people.
Thank you for the community you cultivate here. Blessings to you 🙂
Thank you for your comment to my recent post. You mentioned the 91 year old lady who wakes at 3:00 am each night to pray. Please be award that she is being used mightily of the Lord. That is the witching hour when supposedly demons do their work – (I am not sure I understand or believe it about the witching hour.) But that time she spends in prayer is changing situations and lives that she may never know of. Please encourage her to know that she is a MIGHTY WARIAR FOR the LORD and He is working and answering her prayers.
i love you friend.
