A Farmer’s Dying Hope

October 20, 2010 | 6 comments

My father-in-law had a dying hope: That his son wouldn’t have to farm alone.

May I introduce to the man who stepped in to help? May I share with you what it means to us … and what it means to the visiting farmer who harvests with us on this Lee family farm?

I’m telling a story of legacy and purpose over at The High Calling today. I invite you to join us there.

How you pour into your words….and what you see/share through the lens….is a blessing.

So wonderful–such a blessing God has given you to have a father who is willing to come help with the harvest. Such a testimony for your children, and such a precious time for you to have both of your men under one roof.

coming to your house brings me such peace. I love visiting and wandering through your home, pausing here and there to ponder the stories held within. and you never seem to mind that I'm nosing into the past…
