Q: I already ordered It’s All Under Control. Can I still take part in the challenge?
A: Yep! You can order from one of our regular packages, and give your extra book away. Or, you can order a special package that we’ve put together for those who already own the book, by selecting the package named “I Already Own the Book.” Keep in mind, each person will need a book to take the challenge, so only select this option for anyone who already has the book.
Q: Oh my. Do I have to read a whole book in one week?
A: Nope! You are already drowning in responsibilities; we don’t want to drown you in words too! (We like you too much for that.) We will offer specially-selected readings from the book. You can read the whole book later. And, of course, we hope you will. 🙂
Q: What are the dates of the challenge?
A: September 24-October 1, 2018.
Q: My friends and I want to take the challenge, but we are thinking of taking the challenge a different week. Is that ok?
A: The challenge is optimized to be taken the week of September 24-October 1, because that’s the week when Jennifer will be available to you every day in the Busy to Best Challenge Facebook group. However, you can take the challenge on your own at a later time, by going through the resources and step-by-step instructions in your kit. But keep in mind: Jennifer won’t be available during the other weeks.
Q:Â What’s the difference between the Busy to Best Challenge and the Bible study for It’s All Under Control?
Busy to Best is a 7-day challenge designed to kickstart this season with intention and purpose by helping you and your friends identify key areas you need to address in order to move from busy to best, especially as you plan out your year.
The Bible study for It’s All Under Control is a 6-week journey designed to equip you and your friends to continue letting go of the things you can’t control, finding the strength to hang on tighter to those you can―and finally learning how to tell the difference.
Q: I love the idea of the Busy to Best Challenge and would also like to go deeper. What can I do?
A: Here’s a great second step: Take the It’s All Under Control Bible Study immediately following the Busy to Best Challenge. If you are facilitating a Busy to Best Challenge group, you will receive a one-week sample of the Bible study, to see if it might be a good fit for your group.
Q: How do I join the Busy to Best Challenge Facebook group?
A: Those details will also be included in an instruction sheet that comes with your kit.
Q: I’m facilitating a Challenge group and need help. What do I do?
A: We are here for you. As a leader, you will immediately receive access to an exclusive group on Facebook where you’ll get direct help from Jennifer on how to best facilitate a challenge group. Look for details in your email inbox after you order your kit.
Q: I don’t have Facebook. What should I do?Â
A: We did a lot of research, and found that Facebook would be the easiest, most accessible way for Jennifer to gather “virtually” with women across the nation. However, we recognize that some challenge participants might not have Facebook. You can take the challenge solely by using the videos, resources, and step-by-step instructions in your kit. You will, however, miss Jennifer’s live chats in the Facebook group. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Q: Do we have a group hashtag?
A: Of course we do! #BusytoBest
Q: Where will I find the opening and closing day videos, as well as the added online resources?
A: We have put together an exclusive webpage of resources just for you as challenge participants. You’ll receive access to that page, along with instructions, in your kit.
Q: When will my kit arrive?
A: Kits will be shipped sometime in September. You should receive them well before the challenge begins on September 24.
Q: How often will you offer this challenge?
A: Right now, we only have plans to offer this challenge once in 2018. If there’s enough demand, we will consider offering it again sometime in 2019.
Q: I have a group of friends joining me for the challenge. Where do we meet?
A: The beauty of the challenge is this: YOU CAN MEET ANYWHERE YOU WISH, and wherever you have WiFi. Your group will meet two times during the challenge: September 24 (Rally Day) and again on October 1 (Celebration Day), at the time of your choice. On those two days, you will watch a video message from Jennifer. And then, you will go through the questions Jennifer has provided. So, where do you meet? Wherever suits you! Your back deck. Your favorite coffee shop. The little winery down the road. Your garage. A treehouse. Your church sanctuary. Under a tent in the backyard. Your living room, kitchen table, or the picnic table by your garden shed. Share your pictures on social media, and use the hashtag #BusytoBest.
Q: I am way behind on laundry and housecleaning and deadlines, and I don’t know how to catch up. Can you help me with that?
A: If we could, we’d be on your doorstep in about 30 minutes with mops and dark chocolate. But since we can’t do that, we’re happy to let you know that the Busy to Best Challenge is practically the same thing. Are you in?
Q: My question wasn’t answered. What should I do?
A: Bummer! So sorry about that. Use the contact form below, and we’ll do our best to help you, as soon as we’re able.
