Dream on, Dreamer! (And a little Lydia update)

September 21, 2012 | 17 Comments

I keep thinking about dreams.… and how dreams were God’s idea in the first place.

But the enemy? He has hijacked that one beautiful word — DREAM — trying to make us think that dreams are all about money or status or self or ego or “success” or getting ahead or keeping up with the Joneses.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. I want to take the word DREAM back. It belongs to us. (I also want to take the word “success” back, but that’s a different post…)

I believe the very best God-planted dreams are not about self-glory; but His glory. And I believe they really can happen anywhere — in schoolhouses and country churches; on Main Street USA and the moon; inside suburban homes and thatched huts in Haiti.

I believe that God-planted dreams were intended to come true … through beautiful people like you!

I believe that dreams are something to behold, … and I know they are something to be held!

And I know that God has already given you the right set of gifts to carry out His purposes for your life, here on Earth, for God’s great glory. Check it out:

So dream on, friends!

And …

The Lee Family is so grateful for you. You are really the best. Thank you for the way you loved and prayed and cared for us this week. Lydia is at home recovering after her eardrum surgery. The surgery was a bit more involved than we anticipated, but we are hopeful this one worked!
