But What of the Dark?

This moon rose up over the line of pine and birch — in all its luminous glory — here on the shore of a little Minnesota lake where we’ve been kicking back with family this week.

The quote, above, is from a dear Jesus-sister and friend, Ann Voskamp, author of One Thousand Gifts.

Have a blessed, restful, glory-filled weekend, friends…

We had tornado warnings 10 miles north of here last night so didn’t get to see that moon. I wondered if you were having severe weather where you were. We did get 2 1/2 inches of refreshing rain … probably more than we have had all summer.

I hope you have a glorious restful time. You need some rest… all our present-day heavy stress can wear us out.

    Lovely photo, good thinking.

    Blessings, J.

Oh, I’ve captured a few of those beautiful moon setting photos on my lake in Ontario. But I think I need a lesson in night photography. You captured it beautifully. And I love that Ann, every word she writes is full of wisdom. Hope you’re having a restful time of joy.
