Road Trip
Yes, that’s me on the far left, featured as George Washington. (I’ll explain that in a minute.)
But first things first:
I’m a sucker for a road trip.
Next week, our family is headed to the Northwoods of Minnesota. Next month, we’re going to Colorado. And in September, we’re headed to the Black Hills of western South Dakota — home of Mt. Rushmore.
I also enjoy my road trips out on the Information Superhighway. May I make a few “travel recommendations” for your weekend reading?
For anyone who wants to enrich their study of Scripture, take a road trip to see Monica. (Be sure to pack your pen and notebook.) She suggests bringing your study of Scripture to life by drawing what you “see.” I’m not an artist, but even I gave it a try. I started implementing Bible doodles into my study time this week.
For anyone who has ever doubted, may I suggest Patty’s courageous post.
For anyone who wonders how they’ll be remembered, cruise on over to read a post about eternal significance, written by one of my new faves: Jason.
For anyone in need of encouragement, take the path to visit gifted wordsmith Lyla. She reminds us we aren’t alone as we travel through life.
Happy traveling, friends.
Sounds like an exciting summer.!!
Ahh, the joy of road trips! Enjoy every minute. Someday, we want to show our boys the beauty of the US as well. They know much more of other nations than the one they were born in!
Hugs for your day,
Sarah Dawn
Shoot, you guys should get out more.
Great picture, love the shoe polish.
Thanks for the link — I've visited the others, and I don't deserve to be in their company. Humbled by that.
That was a cute pic! May you have a great time as you travel. God bless and always be with you!
Congratulations on the nice award from RCUBES. Hope your road trip is great! wb
Thanks for the road trip guidance — pleasant travels, indeed!
My first stop over. Had a great time. Keep writing for Him…I'll be back!
