Disclosure & Privacy Policy

The purpose of this blog is to encourage women in their walks of faith, to tell stories that point to Jesus, and to seek light together, so we can make it through the dark days. We’ve been on this journey since 2008. As this blog has grown, so have the expenses to run it. In order to cover the cost of servers, design, technical support, and the email newsletter you receive, I use affiliate links in posts when they are available. My promise to you is this: If I endorse, advertise or sell a product, book or service, it means that I have found it to be beneficial. I will not include links to products that don’t mesh with our overall mission at JenniferDukesLee.com.

Your privacy is so important to me. So I wanted to share this notice explaining the online information practices of this blog and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Cookies and Web Beacons

This blog may, on occasion, use third-party advertisements to support its running costs. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on my site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit my site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

You can chose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with my blog as well as other websites. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts.

Collection of Personal Information – Log Files

As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.

Links to Third Party Websites

Sometimes, I will include links on this site for your use and reference. I am not responsible for the privacy policies on these other websites. You should be aware that the privacy policies of these sites may differ from my own.

Any information collected during giveaways, such as names and email addresses, will not be used for any purpose other than to contact the winners.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

The contents of this statement may be altered at any time, at our discretion.
